Bellbrook Fishing Report week ending 4th October 2013

The normals have once again been catching well this week, Chris Gough visiting from London caught his first ever fish using a fly rod, big smiles all round. He was using a small brown buzzer, sub-surface.

Three youngsters from Wellington under the charge of Mr Osborne also tried their luck with the normals, unfortunately only one of them managed to bag a rainbow, 1lb 8oz using a small green nymph.

David Skinner from Sidmouth chose a Rover ticket allowing him to fish all the lakes, he managed to bag two normals for 3lb 10oz.

The warmish weather looks set to continue but the water temperature is definitely dropping which can only be good news for those hoping to hook a specimen.

We have emailed our database with details of a fab winter fishing offer – those interested can see it at http://www.bellbrookfishery.co.uk/news
