Bellbrook Fishing Report week ending  29th November 2013

Lots of happy anglers this week, duo Mike Clayton from Shaldon and Phil Clinch from Exeter being two of them. Phil, a relative nubie at fly fishing, was hitting the spot with anything longtailed and a hint of green in it, he bagged 3 rainbows around 2.8lb each.

Chris Evans and his wife had taken up our special offer of 3 nights accommodation with free fishing for £190. He had an excellent couple of days managing to hook and land six fish each day. A gold headed daddy was his favourite choice and it certainly succeeded in tempting those specimens.

George Sandamas making his second visit of the year, despite living in Barnet, also had a full bag on his Rover Classic. A couple of 4lbers were again reeled in using a sunken Daddy (shallow).

Regular Rosie Coles managed a couple of fish including a specimen from Ironmill at just over 3lbs at a depth of 3’ while season ticket holder Nigel Croft finished of his season ticket  with a couple of 2lbers out of the normal lakes.

Please note that we will have our Christmas Fish Off on December 15th - this is a fun day with some warming mulled wine and mince pies, a good lunch and some excellent fishing. It is run as a friendly competition with prizes but the main emphasis is a good day's fishing with some like minded company. Please call to book your place.

Any questions about the fishery please call Chris on 01398 351292.
