Temple win Fish off by one fish - Sunday 5th March 2017

Great day's fishing On Sunday when a team of 9 fishers visited our fishery from Temple - the weather wasn't anything like as bad as forecast and was quite sunny at times. The two teams have fished against each other on two earlier occasions with the Bellbrook team taking the glory todate - but not this time. 61 fish were caught in total with Temple managing 31 - good effort. The best result of the day was Gareth Parks from Launceston fishing for Temple who managed to catch all of his 6 fish limit for a total weight 21 - 4. His best fly was a small Cats Whisker.

There were 18 anglers in total and the event ran the usual format at Bellbrook with the lakes being pegged and each competitor having 45 mins per peg to catch their fish. This system works well giving everyone an opportunity to fish all the lakes and from a variety of pegs. We also lay on a hot 2 course lunch which goes down very well. While the day is classed as a competition the main focus is to have a good day out with good humoured banter.
