The Owlet - a cosy and colourful caravan with lake views

The Hide is set in a beautiful spot, hidden amongst trees and ferns, and overlooks Sedgemoor Lake. This cosy self catering caravan is named in honour of the owls that can be seen flying over the lake. It is a welcoming caravan with two bedrooms - one double and one twin room and has been newly decorated for 2021. Its position is perfect for those wanting a secluded holiday location and whilst being part of the beautiful fishery, it is an area that is for holiday guests only. The views from the decking are very relaxing and it is the perfect spot for bird watching and star gazing.  There is a BBQ and outdoor furniture and many a guest has enjoyed breakfast overlooking the lake and listening to the sound of the trout jumping. It is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday with family and four legged friends (one medium dog welcome) and with no TV or Wi-Fi it's an ideal time to catch up on those books or enjoy quality family time. The cosy living area has plenty of comfy seating, colourful cushions, a dining table and new Ecodesign wood burning stove. All wood is provided free of charge. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a new 4 ring gas hob with oven, a new fridge with freezer compartment and a sink. The bathroom is fresh and clean with a shower over a half bath (perfect for toddlers!) sink and WC - all on mains water. The Hide is an older model caravan but she is a treasured feature here and spotlessly clean and comfortable, however she is not for guests who need luxurious accommodation and as the fire provides the only heating we recommend fluffy socks and onesies in the cooler months. Guests are encouraged to enjoy the extensive and beautiful grounds of the fishery whilst maintaining the peaceful and tranquil nature our guests love! Access to this hidden gem is via a private farm track - it is a bit bumpy but part of the adventure! Bedding is provided and beds will be made up on arrival for the number of guests booked.
