Bellbrook Fishing Report week ending 1st November 2013

Yes Autumn has definitely arrived at Bellbrook. The woods are giving a beautiful display of colour to our anglers.

Robert Tiley visiting from I.O.W. enjoyed an afternoon on the normal lakes, taking his full allowance of lively rainbows, using a Bloodworm mid water, ranging from 1 ½ lbs upwards. He commented that they all 'Put up a good fight'.

Cats Whiskers also featured this week amoung them Dave Tunstall and Bob Hodges from Wells and they managed to bag 7 fish between them.

The colour green was also tempting the bigger fish this week, whether it be a Montana, a Damsel or a Nymph. Tony Williams from Ivybridge, ties his own flies and found that, as well as that green flash of colour, his own type of 'Daddy' on the surface lured a couple in.

There are more people taking up our half price Rover Classic ticket offer, which makes it even more essential to pre-book as only one of these special tickets is allowed per day. Barry Ratcliffe from North Tawton took advantage of this and caught a couple of Specimens using a blue damsel.

And last, but not least, father and son Bland team holidaying locally went home triumphant with Dylan catching his first fish using a fly, olive nymph. He had an hour's tuition when he first arrived and after that there was no stopping him.
